Thank you for the free tool.
I have not downloaded it, yet. but it does appear (via the gallery) that it has no knowledge of topological symmetry.
It would be very useful if it could out put a solution on a symmetrical model in a symmetrical fashion.
symmetry would be very useful indeed. also the ability to chew through some higher res meshes would be nice ”
(tried a 300.000 polygon mesh and it seemed to choke)
furthermore this is a trial version? I assume this indicates there will be a commercial version?
what are your plans?
Symmetry was moved to the first position in the development plan.
The question about higher density meshes is not easy. A lot of data (initial surface clone, curvature fields, markers and so on) are used during meshing. We will add a command for additional subdivide. It can be used with success at some models.
“furthermore this is a trial version? I assume this indicates there will be a commercial version?

The first step may be a “donate button” for the free console version.
Some finances are necessary to continue and accelerate the mesher development.
Later we can make a commercial version wrapped into plugin and save free console version.

Thank you again.
Now, off to download!

Would love to be involved however it is Win only.
An OSX version would appreciated.

Awesome tool! Getting great results on some test assets. What algorithm are you using if you don’t mind sharing…
Also, it would be great if it could transfer the UVs from the original mesh, or generate new UVs if possible.
Ok, it is not easy but it is possible. UVs transfer was added to TODO.
